Brown announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi on April 11, 2023, sharing a photograph on Instagram. The Independent reported that her caption read, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.” The Independent’s April 15 report and British Vogue’s April 11 coverage described the ring in the engagement announcement.
On April 13, E! reported that viewers could see a closer glimpse at the end of a video announcing Florence by Mills Coffee. The Independent also noted the ring’s appearance at the end of the promotional clip. It was a brief appearance within the advertisement, rather than a separate ring reveal.

Contemporary reports described a diamond center stone and a pavé band, in which small stones are set closely along the band. British Vogue called the visible center stone square-cut. The Knot’s later description said it appeared cushion-cut or round-cut and mentioned a halo as well as a pavé band. Is the ring from Brown’s mother?
Yes, according to Brown’s account as reported by The Knot. In an August 2023 interview with The Times, Brown said the ring came from her mother’s collection and that her mother and Bongiovi were involved together in the proposal. The Knot quoted Brown saying, “I’ve always loved that ring, it’s always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake,” and, “I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.”
