The “naked dress” effect came from its net-like, translucent appearance—not from the garment being absent: Schiaparelli identifies it as woven faded-pistachio organza, designed by Daniel Roseberry for the house’s Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture collection.
What Miley Cyrus wore at Tribeca
The look appeared at the June 6, 2025 presentation of Something Beautiful with Miley Cyrus during the Tribeca Film Festival. Schiaparelli identifies the dress as a Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture design by creative director Daniel Roseberry. The fashion house’s event release describes the garment as woven in faded pistachio organza, embroidered with crystal water drops and finished with a cascade of fringe.
Its plunging neckline and sheer, net-like construction create the impression of a “naked dress.” That phrase describes the visual effect; the material named by Schiaparelli is organza. Vogue España also describes the net construction, teardrop crystals and long fringe.
How the crystal effect is built
The crystals are not simply a surface scatter. Schiaparelli says they are placed on the inside of each interlace of the woven organza, where they form the appearance of drops of water. Against the pale, faded-pistachio fabric, the embellishment catches the eye while leaving the net-like structure visible. The long fringe adds movement to the dress, extending the liquid, cascading impression.

The house also names a matching fringe stole as part of the look. Marie Claire reports nude pointed-toe pumps and describes a matching stole as well. Marie Claire’s account calls the bag an Anatomy Jewelry Bag, while Schiaparelli’s release identifies an ecru calf-leather Facebag. Because the descriptions differ, the bag’s identification is not settled by these accounts.
Why the dress reads as a “naked” look
“Naked dress” is fashion shorthand for a garment whose transparency, netting or strategically exposed areas make skin part of the visual design. Here, the impression comes from the sheer woven fabric and deep neckline, contrasted with intricate couture work: organza, crystal embroidery and fringe. The construction detail matters because it distinguishes an illusion of near-bare styling from the actual materials and craftsmanship Schiaparelli describes.

Is this dress available to buy?
The cited coverage identifies the look as haute couture but does not establish a retail price, public availability or an identical mass-market version. A shopper searching for a related aesthetic might use a broad phrase such as “crystal embellished sheer mesh dress,” but that describes a style direction, not a verified match for Cyrus’s Schiaparelli couture gown.
