Monument Valley 3 is a natural fit for Netflix Games: it turns striking, impossible architecture into approachable puzzles, then gives that visual journey an emotional purpose. Noor must find a new source of light as the world’s light fades. The caveat is availability: Netflix announced the mobile launch in December 2024, but that announcement alone does not establish whether the game is still in Netflix’s current catalog.
What makes Monument Valley 3 a strong Netflix Games fit?
The game combines a clear, story-led goal with puzzles that invite players to explore rather than memorize complicated rules. Noor, an apprentice, discovers that the world’s light is fading and sets out to find a new source of power. Netflix’s synopsis also frames the journey as one of helping a village come together and guiding it to a new home.

Its central puzzle language is visual: players manipulate architecture and environments to uncover routes through spaces that can appear impossible. The developer also highlights sailing through surreal waters, a new element for the series that broadens the journey beyond its shifting structures. That combination of accessible interaction, distinctive art direction and a gentle narrative makes the game well suited to a mobile service built around pick-up-and-play experiences.
How does the gameplay work?
Architecture becomes the puzzle
Instead of navigating a straightforward map, players alter structures and environments to reveal paths. Optical illusions and changing geometry are part of the challenge: what seems blocked or disconnected may become traversable when the scene is manipulated.

Sailing adds a new kind of journey
Surreal waters and sailing give Noor’s journey another setting and mode of movement. Ustwo Games describes this as new to the series, alongside the impossible geometry and changing environments that define the puzzles.
Is Monument Valley 3 on Netflix now?
Ustwo Games announced Monument Valley 3 as available on Netflix Games on December 10, 2024. At launch, the developer said players could download it from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with Netflix credentials. That is a historical description of the launch arrangement, not confirmation of current catalog status: the official announcements cited here do not say whether the game remains included with a Netflix membership today. Check the Netflix app or a current official catalog listing before subscribing or choosing a platform on that basis.

Why the “perfect Netflix Games title” description needs a qualification
As a design fit, the description makes sense: the game’s visual puzzles, compact interactions and story-led exploration translate naturally to mobile play. As a claim about what a Netflix membership currently includes, it needs checking. The launch announcement confirms the game’s Netflix Games debut, while the later platform announcement establishes additional places to play; neither cited announcement confirms its present-day Netflix catalog listing.
