Who did KT Smith marry?
Smith married Luke Scornavacco. Us Weekly reported that the couple had gone public with their relationship in May 2023 and that Smith and Morgan Wallen had previously dated and share a son, Indigo, born in July 2020. The Wallen reference is background to Smith’s earlier relationship, not a connection to her marriage. Us Weekly’s April 2024 report covered the relationship and wedding announcement.

The reports distinguish the proposal, engagement announcement, wedding date and public announcement of the marriage. Us Weekly says Smith posted proposal imagery dated March 29, 2024, and reports the engagement announcement on March 30. iHeart identifies March 29 as the engagement announcement date, so coverage differs by a day on when the engagement was announced. Both reports place the marriage just days later: iHeart gives April 3, 2024, as the wedding date, and Us Weekly says Smith announced the marriage on April 4. iHeart’s January 2025 report also identifies April 3 as the marriage date.
What Smith shared publicly
According to Us Weekly, Smith announced the marriage in an Instagram slideshow on April 4, 2024. The slideshow’s final slide showed a marriage certificate. The publication said further wedding details were not known at the time. Read the April 2024 account.

What happened to the couple afterward?
On January 14, 2025, Smith announced that she and Scornavacco had decided to separate. In the statement reproduced by Us Weekly, she wrote, “Luke and I have decided to separate,” adding that neither had done anything wrong and that they wanted to do what was best for themselves and Indigo. Us Weekly’s separation report and iHeart’s account covered the announcement.
In an April 25, 2025, report, iHeart said Smith had posted photos with Scornavacco and Indigo on April 20 and described the pair as appearing to have rekindled their relationship. That report is evidence of how their relationship appeared at that time, not confirmation of their status today.
