Meghan Markle was reportedly dressed as a butterfly for Halloween 2025, with Archie as an ant and Lilibet as a firefly. The costume descriptions come from a report published by Hindustan Times on 2 November, which attributed the details to TMZ.
What did Meghan Markle, Archie and Lilibet wear for Halloween?
According to the Hindustan Times report, Meghan wore a butterfly costume, Archie was dressed as an ant, and Lilibet was a firefly. The account says the family went trick-or-treating in a Santa Barbara neighborhood. Hindustan Times credited TMZ for the costume descriptions; they have not been independently confirmed by a statement from Meghan or Prince Harry.
How the Halloween report differs from Meghan’s pumpkin-farm video
A separate family outing took place before Halloween. In a video posted on 26 October 2025, Meghan shared scenes from a pumpkin farm: Archie ran through a corn maze, Lilibet rode in a wagon pulled by Meghan, and Harry carved a pumpkin, according to PA Media. Meghan captioned the post “Happy Sunday” with a pumpkin emoji and an orange heart.
That video does not confirm what anyone wore for trick-or-treating. PA Media noted that only the backs of Archie and Lilibet were visible in the pumpkin-farm footage. The butterfly, ant and firefly descriptions belong to the later Halloween account, not to that video.
