Who is Grace Ashcroft?
Grace is an FBI intelligence analyst and one of Requiem’s two protagonists. PlayStation describes her as focused and insightful in deductive reasoning and analysis. After her mother’s death, she became an introvert who immersed herself in her work.
Her investigation takes her to the abandoned Wrenwood Hotel, the place where her mother was murdered, to examine deaths connected to a mysterious disease. Grace’s gameplay emphasizes survival under pressure: limited supplies, analyzing threats and crafting items from the blood of infected enemies.

Is Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil Requiem?
Yes. Leon S. Kennedy is the other protagonist. A survivor of the Raccoon City Incident who has responded to numerous outbreaks, he is now a seasoned agent with the DSO, an organization that combats bioterrorism. In Requiem, he investigates a new string of deaths in the Midwest.
His gameplay leans toward action and equipment. PlayStation highlights firearms, a hatchet, melee attacks, parries and customizable weapon equipment. That emphasis contrasts with Grace’s resource-focused survival, but the official descriptions frame the difference as one of style—not as a rule that either character can only play one way.
Who is Alyssa Ashcroft?
Alyssa is Grace’s mother and a survivor of the Raccoon City Incident. She was a reporter during the original outbreak and continued investigating Umbrella afterward. The official profile says she was murdered at the abandoned Wrenwood Hotel, the same location Grace visits in her investigation.

How do Grace and Leon’s roles and gameplay differ?
PlayStation says the protagonists’ journeys and gameplay styles intertwine. The contrast is best understood as a difference in emphasis: Grace’s profile foregrounds analysis, scarce resources and crafting; Leon’s foregrounds combat experience, weapons and tactical equipment.

It lists supported voice languages for the PS5 version, but language support does not establish individual actor-character credits. When did Resident Evil Requiem release, and what platforms are listed?
PlayStation identifies Resident Evil Requiem as the ninth mainline Resident Evil title and lists a PS5 version with a February 27, 2026 release date. Capcom’s release notice gives the same date.
Are Grace and Leon available as figures?
Yes. In a January 30, 2026 merchandise announcement, Capcom listed separate 1/6-scale Figure Builder Creators Model products for Grace and Leon, rather than a single set. The figures are described as displayable together, but sold separately. Capcom scheduled Grace’s PVC-and-ABS figure, approximately 28 cm in body length, for September 10, 2026, and Leon’s for November 19, 2026.
