The available preview listing identifies Kingston as a guest star, but does not establish what she says or does in the footage. The episode synopsis likewise does not spell out Morgan’s role in the case, so her precise involvement should not be assumed.
Where Season 3 fits in the series
The Chelsea Detective follows DI Max Arnold as he investigates crimes in a London borough whose polished image conceals violence, deception, greed, and murder. In “Deadlock,” the investigation’s route from a local estate to the U.S. embassy gives the case an institutional dimension while keeping the focus on Max and Layla’s search for the victim’s identity.
#1 Best Overall
For this Season 3 episode, Acorn TV names Layla Walsh as Max’s partner. The service’s general series description currently names DS Priya Shamsie; that broader description should not be substituted for the episode-specific listing.
