Why do Kutcher and Kunis keep their children out of the spotlight?
Kutcher has said that the couple wants Wyatt and Dimitri to decide for themselves whether they want a public life. In a conversation with ABC News, he said, “We’d like to allow our kids to make their own choices on whether to have a life in the public eye or not. We don’t want to make the choice for them.”
In a Thrive Global Podcast conversation with Arianna Huffington, Kutcher also explained that he did not think images of the children should circulate while they were young, because they should have the right to choose what is public about them. The point of the policy, as he described it, is to leave that decision to the children rather than make it on their behalf.
