Who are Katherine Heigl’s children?
Their children are Naleigh, the eldest; Adalaide, the second; and Joshua, the youngest. In a May 2025 interview, Parade described them as 16, 13 and 8, respectively. Those are ages reported at that time, not current ages.

How did the family grow?
Naleigh
Heigl and Kelley adopted Naleigh from South Korea when she was nine months old, according to a 2021 Parents feature. Heigl has explained that adoption was familiar in her own family: her older sister Meg was adopted from Korea. “I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea,” she told Parent & Child.
Heigl also described the early adjustment as a process. In the Parent & Child interview, she said it took time for Naleigh to trust her new situation.

Adalaide
The Parents feature says Heigl and Kelley adopted Adalaide at birth in the United States. It reports that the couple talked with their daughters about their birth stories and let them decide how much information they wanted to hear. Heigl put the approach this way in the 2021 interview: “We have said to them, this is your story.”
Joshua
Heigl gave birth to Joshua, whom Parade called her youngest son in May 2025. That interview described him as 8 at the time.

What has Heigl said about raising her children?
In the 2021 Parents interview, Heigl discussed wanting to protect her daughters while preparing them for the world: “It’s about how I need to protect my daughters and prepare them for the world, because I can’t change society in one fell swoop.” The comment was about her perspective as a parent, not a description of the children’s private lives.
Parade reported in May 2025 that the daughters had not watched Grey’s Anatomy and Joshua did not understand the series. That detail reflects what Heigl said in that interview; it should not be taken as a lasting account of what the children watch or know.

Published ages are dated snapshots. Parents listed the children as 12, 8 and 4 in April 2021; Parade listed them as 16, 13 and 8 in May 2025. Readers may see different ages in older profiles because those stories describe the family at the time they were published.
