How old are Olympia and Adira?
ABC News reports that Olympia was born in September 2017. Williams marked Adira’s first birthday by saying she was born on August 15, 2023. Based on those dates, and as of October 8, 2026, Olympia is nine and Adira is three. ABC News on Adira’s first birthday
Ages change with birthdays, so those figures are tied to the date above. A WTA article published in November 2025 referred to Adira as two and Olympia as eight; those ages were accurate for that period, not the present date. WTA’s November 2025 article

What has Serena Williams said about becoming a mother of two?
In a social post reported by ABC News, Williams described Adira as “a true light” and reflected on how her love for Olympia remained unchanged after her second daughter arrived: “Because my love for Olympia has not dimmed. My heart simply now is doubled the size and I have a greater capacity to love more!” ABC News’s report
A TIME profile published in April 2025 offered a dated glimpse of family life: Williams said she was “the room mom at Olympia’s school this year.” That is an anecdote from the profile, not a claim about her current role. TIME’s 2025 profile

Olympia’s lessons
The WTA says Olympia began tennis lessons in 2020. In a later interview covered by the WTA, she did not especially like playing at that time. That describes her interest then; it cannot predict how she will feel about the sport in the future. WTA’s account

Adira on court
In November 2025, the WTA described a backyard-court video in which two-year-old Adira balanced a ball on her racquet and mimicked Williams’s forehand. A playful moment with a parent is not evidence of a long-term sporting plan. WTA’s report
At Williams’s return to competition
In June 2026, the Associated Press reported that both daughters accompanied Williams around her return to competition. AP quoted Tennis Channel commentator Christopher Eubanks saying, “This is about more than just records. At this point, it’s more about family.” The report establishes their presence, not what the girls privately thought about the experience or what they may choose to do later. Associated Press report
