When did Season 1 launch?
NetEase scheduled Season 1 to start January 10, 2025, at 1 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Its announcement described a three-month season split into two halves. The official Version 20250110 patch notes were published January 8, 2025. This is a historical account of the launch announcement and patch, not a statement about the season’s present availability or current game state.

Which Fantastic Four members arrived in each half?
The rollout was staggered. The launch patch confirms two heroes joined in the initial update; the other two were announced for the season’s second half.

The January 2025 announcement provides the roles and character descriptions; the patch independently confirms Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic in the initial update. It does not establish that all four were playable on January 10.
What maps and mode did the update add?
The season’s announced setting was New York’s Empire of Eternal Night. The roadmap named three maps, but the launch patch identifies only the first-half maps and their uses. Central Park was announced for the second half.

How Doom Match worked
Doom Match was a free-for-all-style mode built around hostile factions rather than a single allied team. The official announcement and patch describe one map and 8–12 players, with every faction hostile to the others. Players earned points by knocking out enemies; by default, the top 50% of players counted as winners. The patch lists Sanctum Sanctorum as its map.
What did the event and Battle Pass include?
Midnight Features event
The launch patch included Midnight Features, the first half of a seasonal event with limited-time rewards. The announcement listed galleries, a costume, a spray, a unit, a nameplate, and other rewards.

Battle Pass terms announced in January 2025
The new Battle Pass included 10 costume sets, according to the patch notes. NetEase’s announcement described the Luxury Battle Pass as costing 990 Lattice and said completion returned 600 Lattice and 600 Units. It also described the pass as containing more than twice the content of the Season 0 pass.
These are announcement-era terms, not verified current pricing or store conditions. NetEase also said Battle Passes would not expire under the described system, while conditions applied to retaining tokens bought with Lattice; consult the original announcement for the stated retention details.

What other game changes were in the launch patch?
Ranked play and missions
- A new Celestial rank sat above Grandmaster and below Eternity, with three divisions.
- Players’ ranks were reset by seven divisions based on their final Season 0 rank.
- The patch changed daily mission unlocks and new store-item availability, moved most event start times from 07:00 UTC to 09:00 UTC, and removed some challenging mission types.
Hero balance and PC options
The season announcement previewed improvements for mobile Vanguards such as Captain America and Venom, and capability boosts for Wolverine and Storm. Those were stated intentions to improve roster usage, not evidence of measured competitive results.
For PC, the patch added graphics options, mouse smoothing and acceleration settings, and Intel XeSS 2 support. The official Dev Vision Vol. 3 page accompanied the season launch; it identifies Creative Director Guangguang and Lead Combat Designer Zhiyong as presenters but does not provide a sourced direct quotation from them.
