Michael Strahan’s Brentwood home is reported to have a new asking price of $25 million, down from $29.95 million. The difference is $4.95 million, which is commonly rounded to a $5 million reduction. That is a change in the reported asking price—not evidence that the house has sold.
What is the reported asking price?
Brentwood News and Mansion Global both report an asking price of $25 million, reduced from $29.95 million. The arithmetic difference is $4.95 million. These are reported asking prices, not a verified sale price or independent valuation.
| Reported figure | Amount |
|---|---|
| Original asking price | $29.95 million, as reported by Brentwood News and Mansion Global |
| Reduced asking price | $25 million, as reported by Brentwood News and Mansion Global |
| Difference | $4.95 million, calculated from the two reported figures |
What is known about the Brentwood property?
Brentwood News describes the Tigertail Road residence as a nine-bedroom home of about 15,600 square feet on approximately one acre. It reports that Strahan bought the property in 2015 for $21.5 million, shortly after construction was completed.
The home is described as East Coast traditional, with white siding, paneled windows, French doors and broad decks. Mansion Global also describes gated garages, a terraced garden, and a covered poolside deck with a fireplace and outdoor kitchen.

Does the price cut mean the home has sold?
No sale is established by the available reports. A reduced asking price indicates only that the reported price sought by the seller changed; it does not establish a buyer, a completed transaction, or the amount Strahan might receive. The property’s listing status as of October 8, 2026, is not verified here, so $25 million should be treated as a reported figure rather than a confirmed active listing.
When was the price reduction reported?
Brentwood News displays conflicting dates: its page header says August 31, 2026, while the story text says January 18, 2026. Because those labels conflict, an exact publication date cannot be stated confidently. Mansion Global also reports the two asking-price figures, but its publication year is not independently established.
