The headline refers to a November 2011 report that Matt Hardy and Reby Sky posted a nude photo of themselves on Twitter. The report does not verify that the image “went viral,” describe an unauthorized disclosure, or measure how widely it circulated.
What happened, according to the 2011 report
In a November 15, 2011, article, Wrestling Inc. reported that Hardy and Reby Sky, described then as his girlfriend, posted a picture of themselves naked on Twitter. That is the report’s account of the event, not a direct statement from either Hardy or Sky.
The article also said Hardy was home for a visit as part of his rehabilitation program and was expected to return to rehabilitation through December. It did not give the exact date the photo was posted.
Was the picture confirmed to have gone viral?
No. Although the original article used “goes viral” in its headline, the reporting does not quantify the photo’s circulation or establish how widely it spread. The available account supports saying that the couple reportedly posted a nude photo; it does not substantiate a viral audience.

Was it a leak?
The report describes a photo the couple reportedly posted themselves. It does not say the image was obtained or shared without their consent, so calling it a leak would go beyond what the reporting establishes.
