On March 17, 2022, TechRound reported that entrepreneur Maria Allgaier planned to formally launch Freyja the following week. The announcement presented it as an alternative to OnlyFans, with adult entertainment, education, content moderation and creator support at its center. That report documents the plan and its stated ambitions; it does not confirm that the launch occurred on schedule or that Freyja is operating today.
What Freyja was announced to be
TechRound described Freyja as an adult-entertainment platform intended to address safety and education alongside content. The report said material would be pre-moderated against racist, violent, illegal and abusive content. It also described educational resources and relationships with charities or nonprofits, as well as a “green-list” of studios said to treat performers well. The report listed mental-health resources, mentoring, financial-management assistance and a performer board as planned forms of support. It also framed the project as a response to issues including sexual violence and exploitation. The coverage does not establish whether these services were implemented, how they were delivered or whether they remain available.

These directory descriptions do not establish that the service currently operates, accepts users or allows creators to sign up.
