My Mom Jayne is already available to stream in some markets: HBO announced its premiere for June 27, 2025, on HBO and Max. The original “this week” framing is outdated. Where the film is available now depends on your country and the services’ current catalogs.
What is My Mom Jayne about?
The HBO Original documentary is Mariska Hargitay’s feature-film directorial debut. It follows her effort to understand her mother, actor Jayne Mansfield, nearly six decades after Mansfield’s death. HBO describes the film as a personal search for the mother Hargitay never knew and a chance to reclaim her story. HBO’s announcement and its official trailer present the story through that family perspective.
