The 65th TV Week Logie Awards brought Australian television personalities to The Star in Sydney on Sunday, 3 August 2025. PerthNow’s 51-image red-carpet gallery asks readers who they think was best and worst dressed. Those labels are fashion opinions—not official Logie awards—so compare the looks and decide for yourself.

Looks worth comparing
These descriptions are attributed to the publications that reported them; they are not a complete inventory of every outfit in the gallery.
- Ayesha Madon: ELLE Australia describes a tartan midi dress with a sweetheart neckline, paired with red peep-toe heels.
- Celia Pacquola: ELLE Australia notes a grey blazer dress, opaque tights and black pumps—a tailored, pared-back combination.
- Dylan Alcott: ELLE Australia identifies a black Boss suit and a Longines watch.
- Anne Edmonds: The Australian Women’s Weekly describes a black velvet suit with a silver clutch.
- Dr Chris Brown: The Australian Women’s Weekly notes a green velvet blazer.
- Michael Theo: The Australian Women’s Weekly named him its best-dressed man “in our opinion,” citing a dark plum suit and matching top hat. That is the magazine’s subjective pick, not a consensus verdict.
- Poh Ling Yeow: ABC describes a silvery bodice with a dusty emerald-green ruched skirt. Its gallery also features Emma Watkins and Bella Varelis.
How to make a fair best- and worst-dressed call
There is no sourced objective scoring system for red-carpet fashion. For a considered comparison, look at silhouette and fit, color, texture or embellishment, how coherently the styling works together, and whether the look feels distinctive. Those are useful ways to explain a personal judgment, not rules everyone has to share. Price, age, body type and adherence to one red-carpet style should not stand in for an assessment of the clothes.

PerthNow’s gallery invites readers to decide who was best and worst dressed. You can agree with an outlet’s pick, prefer a quieter look, or find that no single outfit stands above the rest; the ranking remains a matter of taste.

In a release dated 4 August 2025, Seven Network reported that the red-carpet broadcast had a national average total-TV audience of 1.35 million and a national reach of 2.26 million, calling it the highest-rated Logies red carpet since 2016. Those are Seven’s reported broadcast figures, not gallery readership or an independent audience measurement. Seven separately said the awards broadcast reached 3.45 million Australians across Seven and 7plus and averaged 1.43 million in national total-TV audience, up 7% on 2024; those figures concern the ceremony, not the red carpet.
Rank #2
The fashion conversation is separate from the awards. ABC reported that Lynne McGranger, who played Irene Roberts on Home and Away, won the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television at the 65th awards.
