The $1,000 LEGO Star Wars Death Star is no longer an upcoming rumor: LEGO officially revealed UCS set 75419 in 2025, and it went on general sale October 4, 2025. LEGO’s US listing currently shows it as available for $999.99.
What is the LEGO Death Star set 75419?
Set 75419 is a LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series model of the Death Star. The LEGO Group announced it on September 4, 2025, describing it as the largest LEGO Star Wars set to date—a claim specific to the Star Wars line, not LEGO sets overall. The official instructions page identifies it as an 18+ set released in 2025.
The model includes 9,023 pieces and 38 figures: 36 minifigures and two droid figures. Its scenes include the trash compactor, Princess Leia’s cell, the hangar control room, the tractor-beam control unit, Palpatine’s throne room and the Imperial shuttle hangar. LEGO’s US product listing and September 4, 2025 announcement provide the official specifications.
How much does it cost, and where is it available?
LEGO’s US product page lists set 75419 at $999.99 and marks it “Available now.” At launch, LEGO announced market-specific prices of $999.99 USD, €999.99 and £899.99; the US price should not be treated as a universal price. Availability and displayed prices can vary by market.

How large is the finished model?
LEGO’s official sources conflict on the set’s assembled dimensions. The current US product listing says it is over 70 cm high, 79 cm wide and 27 cm deep. The September 2025 announcement instead gives over 52.3 cm high, 48.0 cm wide and 38.3 cm deep. Because the figures differ materially, neither set should be treated here as a settled measurement. Check with LEGO before planning a display case or shelf around the model.
