Jesaelys Ayala, hija de Daddy Yankee, compartió fotografías de su transformación y contó que se sometió a una cirugía de banda gástrica en 2016. Según los reportes, dijo que pesaba 227 libras antes de la operación; las publicaciones no establecen su peso actual ni cuánto perdió en total.

People en Español informó el 21 de marzo de 2025 que Ayala publicó imágenes del antes y después en sus historias de Instagram. La foto anterior estaba acompañada por la frase «Baby, esta era yo antes de la bariátrica», y la posterior, por «9 años después». El medio describió la primera imagen como tomada antes de la operación y la otra como una actualización de su transformación. People en Español reprodujo esos textos; Primera Hora publicó un relato coincidente el 22 de marzo de 2025.
Qué contó sobre la operación y su peso
En los reportes, Ayala situó la intervención en 2016 y dijo que pesaba 227 libras antes de someterse a ella. People en Español señaló que eligió la banda gástrica porque, según la explicación que le atribuyó, «puede ser reversible». Ese motivo corresponde a su relato personal, no a una recomendación médica general.
Las cifras y fechas proceden de declaraciones atribuidas a Ayala por medios de entretenimiento. No son mediciones actuales ni datos confirmados mediante expedientes médicos. La expresión «9 años después» es el pie de una foto, no una medida de la rapidez de su cambio físico.
