At the 20th anniversary Boobalicious Ball at Crown Towers in Perth, Day introduced Roze as his girlfriend, according to PerthNow’s 16 October 2023 report. Day told the publication: “She is my girlfriend. We have been dating for about seven months.”
Day said they met at the Claremont Hotel during a Friday night out with friends: “We met at the Claremont Hotel on a Friday night at boys’ drinks.” The account of how they met and the length of the relationship came from Day’s remarks to PerthNow.
What was reported about Roze leaving Ukraine
PerthNow reported Day’s statement that Roze left Ukraine in February 2022 and came to Australia. The article does not provide Roze’s own account or independently establish the circumstances of her departure or arrival, so the detail should be understood as Day’s account rather than an independently verified description of her migration.

The relationship announcement took place at the Boobalicious Ball, a charity event organised by Day. PerthNow reported that 1,050 guests attended the 2023 event and that organisers expected it to raise $250,000; the latter was a projection, not a confirmed final total.
