The likely match for “Mama June and Family Break Down in Tears During Emotional Finale” is the season three finale of Mama June: From Not to Hot, promoted to air on WE tv on May 31, 2019. Preview coverage focused on Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson telling June Shannon she was afraid to live with her, alongside a family confrontation over June’s alleged drug use. Those were the issues highlighted in the previews—not independently established facts about events outside the episode.

The franchise has other finales that could be confused with this one. A 2020 Mama June: Family Crisis preview concerned Alana’s conflict with Jennifer, while AMC Global Media’s 2024 announcement described a finale involving a trip to Florida for a final goodbye to Anna. Neither is the 2019 From Not to Hot episode. See the 2020 preview and AMC Global Media’s 2024 finale announcement.
What the 2019 finale previews emphasized
Alana’s fear about living with June
Entertainment Tonight’s preview said Alana told her mother that she was scared to live with her. The report framed this as a difficult mother-daughter conversation in the finale. It does not establish what happened after the scene or provide grounds to generalize beyond what the coverage describes.
