Glamour identified Jenner’s gown as a design by Dilara Findikoglu. After images circulated online, commenters described the dress as white or close enough to bridal white to be inappropriate for a wedding guest. Glamour reported that a representative for the label called its shade “icy blue.”
Those descriptions capture the dispute: the color looked white to some viewers in photographs, while the label’s representative reportedly described it as icy blue. The available coverage does not settle how the shade looked in person.
Did the dress break a wedding rule?
Criticism of the gown invoked the familiar etiquette expectation that guests avoid wearing white or a color that could be mistaken for bridal attire. That reaction is not evidence of an event-specific rule. The cited coverage does not establish that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez announced a no-white dress code, or that either of them objected to Jenner’s choice.

When and where the wedding took place
The celebrations took place in Venice from June 26 to June 28, 2025. The Associated Press reported that Bezos and Sánchez married on June 27 and included Kylie and Kendall Jenner among the guests. Vogue also covered celebrity arrivals in Venice before the wedding.
Why the color description matters
Calling the gown simply “white” would turn a contested visual impression into a settled fact. A more precise description is that it appeared white or nearly white to some online commenters, while a label representative reportedly described it as icy blue. The controversy concerns how the dress was perceived, not a verified ruling that Jenner violated the couple’s dress code.
