The official Armchair Expert episode listing identifies Justin Long as the guest on May 13, 2019, and says he discussed “getting abducted in Michigan.” The listing confirms the podcast context, but it is not a full transcript of that conversation.

Long gave a fuller retrospective account in a later interview with Minnie Driver, preserved in a Metacast transcript. What Long said happened
Long said he had encountered the men at a bar days earlier. When they approached him again, he went along with their invitation. In his telling, guilt and a desire to please influenced his decisions.

He said he smoked what he thought was marijuana, then realized the substance was something else. Long suspected it might have been PCP, but the transcript does not establish what he took. He described becoming debilitated and frightened and said he was held against his will.
How he said he escaped
Long recounted that at around 3 a.m. he opened the door of a car moving slowly through the streets and jumped out. He said he rolled on the ground and a wheel passed over his leg, though he could still move it. These details come from Long’s account in the interview transcript; the available sources do not independently corroborate them.

Did Justin Long report it to police?
Starcasm reported that Long did not call police or go to a hospital the next morning, although he did see a doctor. That reporting supports saying he reportedly did not call police after the incident. It does not establish a deliberate refusal, whether he made a formal report later, or why he did not call the next morning.

How Long says the experience affected him
In the later interview, Long said the experience helped him appreciate boundaries and protecting his own time and space. That is his personal reflection on what he took from the event, not a clinical conclusion about its effects.
