Justin Timberlake canceled his Dec. 2, 2024, Forget Tomorrow World Tour concert at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City after hurting his back in New Orleans. He announced the cancellation on Nov. 30, saying his doctors had advised him to rest longer. The reports did not identify a diagnosis or say when he would recover.
What happened to Justin Timberlake’s Oklahoma City concert?
The canceled show was scheduled for Dec. 2, 2024, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City as part of Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He announced the cancellation two days earlier, on Nov. 30. E! News reported his announcement, and India Today identified the venue and date.
What reason did Timberlake give?
In wording attributed to his Instagram Stories by E! News on Nov. 30, Timberlake wrote: “I’m so sorry Oklahoma City…I have to cancel the show on 12/2. I hurt my back in NOLA and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer.” The outlet also reported his follow-up: “Thank you for your support—ya’ll know I hate doing this.”
The contemporaneous reports do not specify a diagnosis, explain how the injury occurred, or give a recovery timeline. They establish only the explanation Timberlake publicly gave for canceling this date.

Was the concert rescheduled, and what about tickets?
India Today reported on Dec. 2, 2024, that a rescheduled date had not been announced at that time. A contemporaneous KOCO report said the venue had confirmed the cancellation but did not provide a ticket-return update.
