Who joined the Knives Out 3 cast?

The “Challengers” and “Alien” references describe the actors’ other screen associations, not a crossover. TheWrap identified O’Connor with Challengers and Spaeny with Priscilla, noting that she was set to appear in Alien: Romulus.

When and where did Knives Out 3 film?
The production-start window in the original headline was a forecast, not a confirmed start date. On May 27, 2024, TheWrap reported that filming would begin soon. Netflix later confirmed that production took place in London and wrapped during summer 2024. The official update establishes the location and wrap period, but does not give a precise first day of filming.
What is Wake Up Dead Man about?
Blanc investigates a murder at a small church in upstate New York. Father Jud is sent to assist Monsignor Jefferson Wicks, and their conflicting approaches to faith create tension. When Wicks is found dead during a Good Friday service, suspicion falls on Jud. Netflix describes the case as an impossible-crime mystery.
How does the third film differ from the earlier Knives Out mysteries?
Netflix characterizes Wake Up Dead Man as closer to the first Knives Out than to Glass Onion, but creepier. At the film’s September 2025 Toronto International Film Festival premiere, writer-director Rian Johnson described the third entry as a return to the genre’s roots, naming Edgar Allan Poe, John Dickson Carr, G.K. Chesterton and Father Brown mysteries as influences. These are stylistic touchstones, not indications that the film adapts a particular story.
