La noticia más probable detrás del título es una fotografía que el actor Julián Gil compartió en Instagram en febrero de 2019: aparecía desnudo en una piscina de Villalba, Puerto Rico. La cobertura de la época reprodujo un texto atribuido a Gil y reportó una amplia reacción en redes, pero no confirmó quién tomó la foto ni que la persona mencionada fuera su pareja.
La fotografía de la piscina en Puerto Rico
People en Español publicó el 9 de febrero de 2019 una nota sobre la imagen y atribuyó a la publicación de Instagram de Gil estas palabras: “Esta maravilla queda en Villalba, Puerto Rico. Sólo se pueden quedar dos personas por noche. La que me tomo la foto y yo”. La frase presenta el lugar como un alojamiento para dos personas, pero no identifica a quien tomó la foto ni aporta evidencia de una relación sentimental.
Al día siguiente, Milenio informó que la imagen había recibido más de 118.000 reacciones positivas y más de 3.000 comentarios. Esas cifras corresponden al reporte periodístico de febrero de 2019, no a métricas actuales ni a una verificación independiente.
Una noticia distinta de 2020
En enero de 2020, People en Español cubrió otra fotografía: Gil aparecía prácticamente desnudo sobre una cama durante una estancia en República Dominicana. Es un episodio separado del de la piscina puertorriqueña; cambian tanto la fecha como el escenario. No deben combinarse sus detalles como si fueran una sola publicación.

El antecedente de 2015
Una nota de Vanguardia del 23 de septiembre de 2015 mencionó una fotografía que Gil compartió al alcanzar los 100.000 seguidores en Twitter y un calendario fotográfico anunciado en ese periodo. Esa referencia es histórica: no demuestra que el calendario siga disponible ni que esté relacionado con la imagen de Puerto Rico.
