What is “Pegada de Pirata”?
It is a promotional music video that repurposes “Meu Pedaço de Pecado,” João Gomes’s song, for the world of One Piece. The title means roughly “pirate style” or “pirate vibe,” and the adaptation turns the original’s romantic framing toward the series’ pirate adventure.
The video was published on Netflix Brasil’s YouTube channel. The available reporting identifies it as a campaign piece, not as the live-action series’ opening theme.
How does the parody connect to One Piece?
The lyric changes trade romance for details associated with the series and Luffy’s quest. POPLine describes references to sailing, the Marines and the dream of becoming king of the pirates. Coverage by iG likewise frames the song around Luffy’s journey.
