Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar announced the arrival of their fourth child in a joint Instagram post on August 7, 2026. They did not share the baby’s name, exact birth date or sex, so the announcement does not establish that the newborn is a daughter.
What Jeremiah and Hannah announced
The couple shared a photo with their three daughters beside a newborn in a knit blue onesie. Their caption read: “The sweetest moments we’ve ever known. Life feels busier than ever, yet we find ourselves trying to slow down to just soak in these days with our littles. And we wouldn’t have it any other way!” Us Weekly reported that they had not previously announced another pregnancy.
What is known about the baby
The August 7 announcement did not include the newborn’s name, exact birth date or sex, according to Us Weekly’s report. On August 8, the magazine reported that Hannah’s sister-in-law Alaythia Wissmann commented, “Aww I love y’all!!! He’s the cutest! 🤍” The comment appears to suggest the baby is a boy, but it is a relative’s remark, not a sex announcement from Jeremiah and Hannah. Us Weekly characterized it as an apparent indication; the parents’ own confirmation was not reported.
Their family
The couple’s older daughters are Brynley, Brielle and Emery. In its August 7, 2026 report, Us Weekly listed their ages as 3, 2 and 15 months, respectively; those ages reflect the date of that report. The Duggar family’s official profile says Jeremiah and Hannah married on March 26, 2022.
