In August 2024, ELLE reported Ortega’s remarks from a Vanity Fair cover story: “I don’t plan on speaking about my love life publicly, because that’s mine.” This is a boundary about what she chooses to share, not a confirmation that she is single or partnered.
What is known about the rumors linking her to other stars?

What did Jenna Ortega say about the Johnny Depp rumor?
In September 2023, Vanity Fair reported that Ortega rejected a rumor circulated by the gossip account Deux Moi. She wrote: “This is so ridiculous I can’t even laugh,” and said: “I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life.” She also asked people to stop spreading lies. Depp’s representative told Vanity Fair: “Depp is not dating Ortega.”

In August 2024, Ortega again described the claim as the craziest rumor she had heard about herself and said she did not know Depp. Hindustan Times’ report of the interview also quotes Depp’s representative saying he had no personal or professional relationship with Ortega and had never met or spoken to her. The rumor was denied by both sides; it is not evidence of a relationship.
