Jelly Roll’s 100-pound weight-loss milestone was reported on October 24, 2024, by Good Morning America. His nutrition coach and chef, Ian Larios, said he had surpassed that mark during the Beautifully Broken Tour. It was a dated report—not a current weight update.
What was Jelly Roll’s 100-pound milestone?
Larios told Good Morning America: “He just surpassed his 100-pound weight loss.” The report said Jelly Roll had previously discussed losing about 70 pounds and wanting to lose another 100. The coach’s statement marked the later milestone during the tour.

The same report attributed this prediction to Jelly Roll: “Next year, when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me.” Neither the milestone nor the prediction establishes a target or outcome for anyone else.
What did his coach say contributed to the change?
Larios described Jelly Roll staying active between performances by walking around arenas, playing basketball and boxing, while also paying attention to nutrition. He mentioned bananas with manuka honey and dark chocolate as a pre-show snack, as well as a higher-protein, air-fried version of Nashville hot chicken.

How did later reports update the timeline?
The 100-pound figure belongs to October 2024. Later accounts gave larger figures at different dates, so they should not be collapsed into a single current measurement.

| Date and source | Reported figure or statement | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| October 24, 2024 — Good Morning America | Ian Larios said Jelly Roll had surpassed 100 pounds lost during the Beautifully Broken Tour. | A coach-attributed milestone at that time. |
| April 2025 — The Independent report on Pat McAfee’s Big Night Aht show | Jelly Roll said he started at 540 pounds and weighed 357 pounds “this morning” on the day of the interview. He said he wanted to lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with his wife in Sweden. | A dated personal statement, not a current measurement. |
| January 2026 — The Independent report on a Men’s Health interview | The article described a 275-pound loss and reported that he sought therapy for overeating and worked with nutrition advisors, including a medical team at Ways2Well and Ian Larios. | A later retrospective report; not an independently verified measurement. |
The January 2026 article also clarified that Jelly Roll briefly tried an unnamed medication for two weeks before stopping. It would therefore be inaccurate to say, without qualification, that he never tried weight-loss medication. These reports describe his personal experience; they do not establish a universal method or medical advice.
