The same article reported on the band’s continued touring, which demonstrates ongoing activity but does not reveal Shaddix’s personal earnings.
A 2022 GRAMMY.com profile also described Papa Roach’s touring scale, chart milestones, and release of Ego Trip through the band’s independent label, New Noize. That career context helps explain the band’s longevity, but it does not establish what Shaddix owns or earns.

Why streaming figures do not reveal his income
Stream counts cannot be converted into a reliable personal earnings figure without knowing the relevant deal terms, rights ownership, royalty arrangements, and how revenue is divided. Shaddix made that limitation clear in a May 13, 2022 interview with Louder, when asked how much he earns annually from “Last Resort” streams. He declined to give an exact amount, saying the song was “evergreen” and that stations still played it and new listeners continued to discover it.
His answer is evidence that the song has endured, not a disclosure of royalties. Without a stated amount or the underlying financial details, any precise annual streaming-income claim would be speculation.
