The couple announced their marriage on September 21, 2023, and said the wedding had taken place the week before. ABC News quoted Jack’s announcement: “I married the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. All in.” Gearhart wrote that they had “snuck away and married my best friend last week.” ABC News reported the announcement; the wedding date was not specified more precisely.
Where was the ceremony, and how small was it?
The Independent reported that the wedding was held at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara and attributed the description “an intimate family ceremony” to a social media post by the couple’s photographer. The Independent’s report supplies that venue detail.
In a later Access Hollywood interview, Jack described the location as “Santa Barbara, Montecito” and said there were “maybe 30 people altogether.” That is his approximate recollection, not a verified attendance count. How did the family respond?
Jack and Gearhart shared a wedding photo and personal messages after the ceremony. Sharon Osbourne congratulated them publicly; ABC News quoted her message: “Enjoy the beautiful ride ahead and welcome to the family.” ABC News also reported the family response.
