Spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. The sequel’s story is reported to reveal that Yuji Itadori is still alive in its near-future era and unable to age. But the stronger claim in the headline needs qualification: the accessible official listings do not establish that the manga explicitly calls him Earth’s strongest sorcerer. That should not be presented as an official ranking without the chapter’s exact context.
What Modulo says about Yuji’s survival
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo takes place in the near future, beyond the original series’ main events. Secondary coverage reports that Yuji is alive in this era and cannot age. That is a story development reported from the manga, not a separate announcement from Gege Akutami or the publisher.

The official English catalog and the official MANGA Plus page establish that Modulo is an officially distributed manga, but their listing pages do not reproduce the scene or its wording. Readers should therefore distinguish the reported plot reveal from a directly verifiable quotation or publisher statement.
Is Yuji officially Earth’s strongest sorcerer?
That superlative is not confirmed by the accessible official material. A fan reference page describes Yuji as the strongest living sorcerer and associates the claim with a Chapter 19 appearance, but that alone cannot establish whether the manga’s narration says it, a character believes it, or readers have inferred it.

Without the official chapter passage and its context, the careful answer is that Yuji’s survival and inability to age are reported story developments, while “Earth’s strongest sorcerer” remains an unverified ranking. Do not treat that phrase as a direct quotation from the manga.
What kind of series is Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo?
The official Jujutsu Kaisen franchise site describes Modulo as a near-future spin-off. It identifies Gege Akutami as the original creator and Yuji Iwasaki as the artist, and says the short-term serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump began in September 2025. The official English series listing at VIZ records releases through Chapter 25 on March 8, 2026; MANGA Plus also carries the series under both creators’ names.

Where to read or find the collected edition
For the official digital series, use the VIZ or MANGA Plus listings above and check their current regional availability. VIZ lists Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, Vol. 1 as a paperback with a January 5, 2027 release date; because that date is in the future as of October 8, 2026, check the listing for updated availability before looking for a copy.
VIZ also lists Jujutsu Kaisen: The Official Character Guide as a 232-page book for background on the original series. It is not a source for Modulo’s new plot revelations.
