Yes—Riot has explicitly called Evelynn a succubus demon. In its 2017 redesign article, Riot uses that specific label; her current champion profile describes her more broadly as a demon who lures and torments victims.
Why Riot calls Evelynn a succubus
In “Champ Insights: Evelynn,” published October 13, 2017, Riot describes the redesigned character as “a demon. A succubus demon.” The article explains that Evelynn attracts unsuspecting prey, raises their hopes, and then turns the encounter into torment.
Riot’s specific wording answers the question: within League of Legends lore, Evelynn is presented as a succubus demon. The article also says she was born from agony during the most recent Rune War.
How her current champion profile describes her
Riot’s current English Evelynn champion profile calls her a demon rather than using the word “succubus.” It describes her human female appearance as a façade used to lure prey; when a victim succumbs to her charms, she reveals her true form and takes pleasure in the victim’s pain.

These descriptions are compatible: “demon” is the broader term on the current profile, while “succubus demon” is the explicit archetype label in the 2017 redesign article. The current profile’s gameplay information—Assassin / Mage, with abilities including Allure and Last Caress—describes her playable role, not a separate definition of her lore.
