A 2020 profile called him vegan and said he ate mostly raw food; a 2026 Men’s Health interview described his diet as mostly vegan and raw, with eggs. That later interview reported five or six workouts a week, typically lasting 45 to 60 minutes. These are accounts of Kravitz’s individual routine—not proof that it caused his appearance or a plan that suits everyone.
How Kravitz describes his approach
In a 2024 interview with The Guardian around his 60th birthday, Kravitz attributed his appearance to “a combination of genes, self-care, hard work and discipline.” He said he tries to avoid junk food even when he wants it, and described completing a 90-minute workout at 2 a.m. after a late workday. He explained the decision this way: “Because it’s part of my discipline – it’s about body, mind and spirit.”
That late-night session was an anecdote, not a recommended schedule. Kravitz’s account is personal: it illustrates how he thinks about consistency, not what another person should do or what is necessary to achieve a particular physique. In the same 2024 interview, he said, “I do it completely naturally. I’m on no hormones, no testosterone. I do this 100% by food and action.” In 2026, speaking to Men’s Health, he similarly said, “All this is natural: no peptides, no human growth hormone, no testosterone.” These are his own statements, not independently verified medical findings.
What he has said about his diet
The description depends on when the account was published. Men’s Health reported in October 2020 that Kravitz was vegan and ate most of his food raw; he said he had sometimes followed a raw diet for as long as a year. The profile listed produce including broccoli, celery, kale, lettuce, peppers, mango, lemons, okra, avocado and soursop, and reported that he grew food in the Bahamas. A 2024 South China Morning Post profile also described his raw-food approach.

The 2026 Men’s Health interview gives a different, more recent description: very low-carb, mostly vegan and raw, but including eggs. Kravitz described starting his eating day with an egg-white omelet and vegetables, followed by a shake and later a salad. The shake was reported as containing plant-based protein powder, dates, greens and avocado. Based on that account, calling his diet strictly vegan would be inaccurate.
How often he trains and what the sessions involve
In 2026, Men’s Health reported that Kravitz generally trains five or six times a week, with sessions lasting about 45 to 60 minutes. A typical workout targets two or three body areas and includes eight to ten main exercises. His trainer varies the loads and repetition counts, and Kravitz often works his core between main sets.

A 2024 Us Weekly account described another sample session involving weighted abdominal movements and shoulder exercises. The coverage shows examples of resistance and core work; it does not establish one unchanging workout or show that those exercises are appropriate for every reader.
Outdoor activity and cardio in earlier accounts
In the 2020 Men’s Health coverage, Kravitz said, “I’d rather be outside and in nature than being cooped up inside a gym.” That account also described morning fasted cardio, weight training and cardio before bed. Those are details reported at that time, not confirmation that he follows the same schedule now.

What readers can reasonably take from the routine
The reporting supports a picture of long-term attention to exercise and food, with details that change by date and account. It does not include a clinical study, controlled comparison or body-composition measurement establishing that these habits caused Kravitz’s physique. His experience also reflects an individual program developed with a long-time trainer. Treat the reported meals and exercises as examples of his choices—not as medical advice or a prescription for your own training or diet.
