Its most distinctive feature is that you can build the Great Deku Tree in either its Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild form. The set’s scale, game-specific details and alternate builds make a strong case for the enthusiasm behind calling it “incredible”—though that remains an opinion, not a measured verdict.
What is LEGO set 77092?
Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 is a licensed LEGO set based on Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series. LEGO announced it on May 28, 2024, and general sales began September 1, 2024. The LEGO Group lists 2,500 pieces, an 18+ age recommendation and four minifigures: Princess Zelda and three versions of Link. LEGO’s announcement and its US product listing identify the set’s specifications and contents.
It is a display-focused model rather than a small play set: the central tree is paired with scene details including the Master Sword pedestal and Link’s House. The appeal is not just the recognizable character at the center, but the way the set draws on two different eras and visual interpretations of the games.
Why the 2-in-1 design is the set’s defining feature
The supplied bricks make one Great Deku Tree at a time. Builders choose between a version based on Ocarina of Time and one based on Breath of the Wild; the set does not contain enough pieces to assemble both trees simultaneously. That distinction matters: “2-in-1” means an alternate build, not two complete models in one box.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The choice gives the set a built-in display decision. Pick the version that best matches the game you remember, the look you prefer, or the rest of your collection. If you are buying it as a gift, the recipient’s favorite game is a useful clue about which form they may want to show off.
What makes it feel like a substantial Zelda display
Two recognizable game references
The alternate tree forms connect the set to Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild, rather than treating the Great Deku Tree as a single, generic design. That gives fans a reason to think about which incarnation they want on display before building.

More than the tree alone
The Master Sword pedestal and Link’s House add recognizable scene elements around the centerpiece. Four minifigures—Zelda and three versions of Link—also provide distinct characters to display alongside it. Together, those features make the contents feel oriented toward representing the franchise, not merely reproducing a large tree.
A large, adult-directed build
At 2,500 pieces with an 18+ recommendation, this is positioned as a sizable project and a display model. Those specifications communicate scale and intended audience, but they do not establish how enjoyable the build is or whether the price represents good value for an individual buyer.

What “absolutely incredible” can—and cannot—mean
The set’s strongest case is concrete: it combines 2,500 pieces, four character minifigures, recognizable scene details and two alternate versions of a major Zelda character in one display-oriented product. LEGO designer Wes Talbott said, “Our fans have been asking for a LEGO set based on The Legend of Zelda series for a while so we were delighted to work with Nintendo to create the Great Deku Tree in brick form.” LEGO’s announcement attributes the statement to Talbott.
That enthusiasm and the listed features explain why fans may find the first LEGO Zelda set special. They are not proof of sales success, broad audience satisfaction, an unusually enjoyable building experience or objective value. Whether it is incredible for you depends on how much you want a large Zelda display and which Great Deku Tree you would choose to build.
