Michelle Randolph described her work on Landman as part of a life she can hardly believe is hers: “I just love what I do, and I hope I get to do it forever.” The line appeared in a January 15, 2026, Yahoo-syndicated profile by Rachel Burchfield, which identified Randolph as Ainsley Norris. Read the profile.
What Michelle Randolph said about her dream life
Randolph’s remark is a statement of affection for her work, not a claim that she has a formula for success. In the Yahoo profile’s search synopsis, she put it simply: “I just love what I do, and I hope I get to do it forever.” The profile’s synopsis said the Landman Season 2 finale was approaching and that Season 3 had been picked up. Those were the article’s January 2026 updates, not a confirmation of the series’ current schedule.
Who Randolph plays on Landman
Randolph plays Ainsley Norris in the series. The January profile framed her enthusiasm for the job around her work on Landman; the available synopsis does not provide further detail about the character or the production.
How she talks about work and what comes next
In a February 23, 2026, Bustle interview, Randolph described herself as a perfectionist who tends to overprepare. She also spoke about gratitude and manifestation, while saying she hopes to work with women who tell stories from a female perspective: “I really want to work with women [who] tell stories from female perspective.” Bustle says the interview was lightly edited and condensed for clarity.

Her comments give a more personal context for the dream-life line: she cares deeply about her work, but does not present that intensity as effortless. “I love how much I care about everything, [but] I wish I could care less,” she told Bustle. She described manifestation as consciously noticing things that support a goal or the intention to have a good day, rather than as a guarantee of an outcome.
Why she keeps her personal life separate
Randolph told Bustle, “I think my personal life is so separate than my work life.” That distinction matters when reading profiles of an actor: her remarks about her career should not be treated as confirmation of speculation about her private relationships or life outside work.
