Statham plays Levon Cade, a former commando working construction whose employer’s kidnapped daughter pulls him back into a violent search. Its reported theatrical release date, March 28, 2025, has passed.
What is the movie in the red-band trailer?
It is A Working Man, not a sequel to The Beekeeper. The headline’s “Beekeeper director” is David Ayer: Miramax identifies Ayer as the director of the 2024 film The Beekeeper and lists Statham among its stars. Miramax’s official page for The Beekeeper provides those credits.

Coverage described A Working Man as a reunion for Ayer and Statham. The trailer was characterized as red-band, a label generally used for restricted, adult-oriented trailer material; the available reporting does not establish a specific rating for the film itself. The report on the film’s reunion and screenplay covers the creative connection.
Who is Levon Cade, and what is the story?
Statham stars as Levon Cade, a former commando who has left his black-ops career for construction work and a quieter life. When his employer’s daughter is kidnapped, Cade uses the skills of his former life to search for her. The mission leads him into a broader criminal conspiracy. This is the film’s fictional premise, not a report about a real case. The trailer coverage and plot summary describe the setup.

How is it connected to The Beekeeper?
The connection is the director and star: Ayer directed both films, and Statham stars in each. The stories are distinct. The Beekeeper is the earlier 2024 film; A Working Man follows Cade, a construction worker with a commando past. Miramax’s official Beekeeper page confirms the earlier film’s credits, while the A Working Man report identifies Cade and the new film’s premise.
When did A Working Man come out?
The reported theatrical release date was March 28, 2025. The coverage states the date but does not clearly establish the territory in the reproduced excerpt, so it should not be treated as a confirmed worldwide date. It is a past release date, not an upcoming-film announcement. The release-date report gives the date.
