Who does Jared Leto play in Masters of the Universe?

What is the 2026 film about?
After 15 years away, Prince Adam returns to Eternia by way of the Sword of Power. He finds his home under Skeletor’s rule and joins Teela and Duncan, also known as Man-At-Arms, in an effort to save his family and world and become He-Man. The film is a live-action feature from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios, directed by Travis Knight. Mattel credits Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee and Dave Callaham with the screenplay.
When did Masters of the Universe come out?
Mattel announced June 5, 2026, as the U.S. theatrical release date, with international theatrical release planned for June. That was the announced cinema timing; Amazon’s current film guide says the movie is now streaming globally on Prime Video. The Associated Press reported a 142-minute running time and a PG-13 rating for sequences of violence and action, some suggestive material, and language. AP reviewer Lindsey Bahr gave the film two stars out of four and described it as “a big-budget B-movie.” That is Bahr’s critical assessment, not a measure of general audience response.
