The report placed the exchange on Tuesday and said the story continued on the pair’s radio show.
What happened during the Sunrise interview?
According to PerthNow’s March 12, 2024 report, Henderson began recounting how she had secretly spied on a neighbour while he showered. Sandilands added a joke about her sitting in the dark and watching him.
PerthNow said the Sunrise presenters were trying to stifle their laughter before Matt Shirvington ended the segment, saying, “I think we have to leave it there.” Natalie Barr added, “We have different regulations than you do.” These are quotations as reported by PerthNow; the original broadcast recording or an official transcript was not located, so the wording has not been independently checked here.
Where did the story continue?
PerthNow reported that Henderson continued telling the story after the television segment ended, on the Kyle and Jackie O show on KIIS FM. The distinction in the account is between the interview being cut short on Sunrise and the conversation carrying on in the radio program.

What else was discussed in the interview?
The interview also touched on the hosts’ planned Melbourne expansion, which PerthNow said was expected in late April 2024. The report quoted Henderson saying, “No…we want to stick to what we know,” and, “We won’t be dulling things down or pulling back in any way.” She also said, “It works here in Sydney so we don’t really want to mess with that.” PerthNow reported that prize giveaways would be extended to Melbourne residents.
The same report said the pair had signed a $200 million contract over 10 years the preceding November. That figure is PerthNow’s 2024 account; the contract was not independently verified here. The Melbourne plans and contract details are historical reporting from March 2024, not confirmation of the program’s current arrangements.
