#1 Best Overall
- Kraven the Hunter is the visceral, action-packed origin story of how and why one of Marvel's most iconic villains came to be. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.
What do you need to watch the 4K version in HDR?
Sony specifies three pieces of equipment for 4K HDR playback: a 4K UHD television with HDR, an Ultra HD Blu-ray player and high-speed HDMI 2.0A cables. A 4K disc alone is not enough to meet those requirements. Sony’s official film page provides the playback specification.
What is Kraven the Hunter about?
Sony describes the movie as an origin story about how and why one of Marvel’s iconic villains came to be. The story centers on Kraven and his complicated relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff, and follows the path toward vengeance. Sony’s regional film page characterizes it as a standalone story. Sony’s regional page provides that description.
