Kelley Wolf was taken to a local hospital for evaluation after Utah County deputies responded to Sundance Resort on June 13, 2025. The Utah County Sheriff’s Office account, as reported by TMZ, said deputies had received a report that a woman needed help and learned Kelley had made concerning comments to a family member and repeated them to deputies. The office said the call was not for domestic violence or abuse. The encounter was partly captured on Instagram Live; Kelley objected to being handcuffed and alleged that her husband, Scott Wolf, had abused her. The reporting does not establish that allegation as fact.
Why did deputies respond to Sundance Resort?
According to an account the Utah County Sheriff’s Office gave TMZ, deputies went to Sundance Resort on June 13 after receiving a report of a woman who needed help. The office said deputies learned Kelley had made “concerning comments to a family member” and “doubled down on them to officers.” It said she was then taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
The office also told TMZ, “This was not a domestic violence or abuse call.” That is the agency’s description of the reason for the response, relayed through TMZ; TMZ did not publish a directly reviewed incident report.
What did the Instagram Live show?
The Independent reported that the livestream captured part of the encounter. In its account, an officer told Kelley, “So we want to make sure you’re ok,” and explained that deputies were checking on her after comments to her father and others. Kelley objected to being handcuffed and said Scott had abused her. The officer replied that deputies had not spoken to Scott.

Kelley also posted, “This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check in on my kids,” as quoted by The Independent. “Taken against my will” is her characterization of what happened, not an official finding about the detention. The reporting does not independently establish her abuse allegation.
Was Kelley Wolf arrested?
The available coverage of the June 13 incident describes deputies taking Kelley to a hospital for evaluation, not arresting her. The Independent reported that an officer said during the livestream that she was not going to jail. The hospital transport should not be conflated with separate later events involving law enforcement or family court.

How did the incident relate to the Wolfs’ separation?
The response came three days after Scott and Kelley announced their separation in separate Instagram posts, according to The Independent’s June 13 report. Scott’s statement, quoted by the paper, said their children remained their priority and asked for privacy as the family navigated a new chapter. The Independent reported that the couple married in 2004 and have three children.

The Independent later covered divorce and custody proceedings. Those developments belong to a later timeline and do not, by themselves, establish what prompted deputies’ June 13 response or resolve the claims made during the livestream.
