Why fans wondered if Katy Perry was expecting again
Perry’s Mother’s Day 2024 Instagram carousel opened with an image of her holding a positive pregnancy test. The image prompted speculation that she and Orlando Bloom might be expecting another child, as Alexandra Sakellariou reported for TheThings.com on May 15, 2024.
What Perry’s caption said about the test
Perry’s caption framed the images as memories from her pregnancy with Daisy Dove. As reproduced by TheThings.com, she wrote: “1. Og pee stick! 2. Telling O I was pregnant (he was filming in Prague) 3. Telling my brothers @lukebryan@lionelrichie the big news on set in Hawaii at #idol.”
The carousel also included a FaceTime image with Bloom, a throwback video of Perry telling her fellow American Idol judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, and other images from that pregnancy. TheThings.com reported that Daisy was born in 2021.

Did the post confirm a second pregnancy?
No. The post identified the test as a keepsake from the pregnancy that led to Daisy’s birth; it did not confirm a new pregnancy. The report covers Perry’s 2024 post and does not establish her current pregnancy status.
