LEGO’s first Star Trek set is the Icons U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (10356), a 3,600-piece display model based on the ship from Star Trek: The Next Generation. LEGO’s US product page lists it at $399.99. It includes nine minifigures and a detachable saucer section; it is not the separate Enterprise bridge set LEGO announced for 2026.
What is LEGO set 10356?
Set 10356 recreates the exterior of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, the starship featured in Star Trek: The Next Generation. LEGO announced the set on November 6, 2025, and said it would be available from November 28, 2025. The current US product listing identifies the model as an 18+ set with 3,600 pieces.
LEGO’s US product page currently lists a price of $399.99. That matches the US recommended retail price LEGO announced at launch in 2025. The original launch announcement also gave regional prices of £349.99 in the UK and €379.99 in Europe; those are launch figures, not a claim about current local pricing. See LEGO’s US product page and its November 2025 launch announcement.

The ship and display features
The model has a detachable command saucer, a secondary hull and warp nacelles with red and blue detailing. Its shuttlebay opens, and the set includes two mini shuttlepods. An angled display stand and plaque are included. With the stand, LEGO lists the model at over 10.5 inches (27 cm) high, 23.5 inches (60 cm) long and 18.5 inches (48 cm) wide.

How it differs from LEGO’s second Star Trek set
Set 10356 is a large exterior model of the Enterprise-D from The Next Generation. LEGO’s second Star Trek release, set 11385, is instead a build of the original-series Enterprise bridge and transporter room. LEGO’s July 23, 2026 announcement gives the bridge set 1,701 pieces, eight minifigures and four tribbles, with a US price of $199.99 and purchase availability beginning September 1, 2026. These are different settings and formats: the 2026 set depicts interior locations, not another version of the Enterprise-D exterior. Details are in LEGO’s announcement of set 11385.

Has the shuttlepod gift offer ended?
Yes. LEGO’s launch promotion for a Type-15 Shuttlepod gift with purchase ran November 28 through December 1, 2025, while supplies lasted and subject to terms. That limited-time offer has expired; it is not part of the standard 10356 set contents.

The Enterprise-D model combines a recognizable ship silhouette with display-focused details and a broad selection of familiar characters. Actor Jonathan Frakes, who played Riker, described the set as a way for fans to relive the crew’s adventures “piece by piece” in LEGO form. His comment appeared in the launch coverage from StarTrek.com.
