Bianca Belair’s involvement at ringside helped shape the closing moments, and SKY’s reign ended 131 days later when Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract at Evolution.
When did IYO SKY beat Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship?
SKY won the title on Raw on March 3, 2025. WWE’s official highlights identify the match as a title change, and WWE’s championship history records SKY’s reign as beginning that date.
How did IYO SKY win the title from Rhea Ripley?
The result came amid a ringside altercation involving Ripley and Bianca Belair. WWE’s match highlights describe SKY taking advantage of the disruption to defeat Ripley. Belair had just won the Elimination Chamber match, a detail WWE also noted in its March 24 Raw preview. The official material establishes Belair’s involvement as part of the story around the finish; it does not provide a match time or further statistical breakdown.
What happened after SKY became champion?
Ripley pursued another opportunity after losing the championship. WWE said she had a rematch clause from her previous title contest, and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce granted her a rematch. The next story beat was a WrestleMania contract signing between SKY and Belair: Ripley interrupted, and Belair was appointed special guest referee for the rematch.
