No official Epic Games source reviewed confirms that Travis Scott returned to Fortnite in 2024—whether through a new Astronomical event, an Item Shop appearance for his cosmetics, or separate music content. Those are different kinds of return, and a general shop rotation is not confirmation that a specific item will come back.
What “coming back” could mean
A claim about Travis Scott returning to Fortnite can refer to three different things. Confirmation of one would not establish either of the others:

- A live event: a replay or replacement for the original Astronomical experience.
- Cosmetics: existing Travis Scott-related outfits or other items appearing in the Item Shop.
- Music content: a separate song or other addition to Fortnite Festival.
What Epic’s official sources say
The Astronomical event was documented in 2020
Epic’s Travis Scott Astronomical Content Creator Guide, published April 21, 2020, explains the original event and advised creators to enter the game 30 minutes early. It documents that event; it does not announce a future replay.
Fortnite Festival’s 2024 announcements do not confirm a return
Epic’s Season 3 announcement, dated April 23, 2024, identified Billie Eilish as that season’s Icon. Its Season 6 announcement, dated November 1, 2024, centered on Snoop Dogg and included a November 8 update about planned lobby jamming. Neither announcement names Travis Scott.

In its December 10, 2024 anniversary article, Epic reported that Fortnite Festival’s first year included over 280 Jam Tracks spanning 236 artists. Those figures describe the mode’s first year; they do not confirm a Travis Scott event, cosmetic return, or song.
Does the Item Shop rotation mean his cosmetics will return?
No. Epic Support says the Item Shop rotates and advises players to check back for unavailable items, but that general policy does not promise the return of any specific cosmetic. Epic also states: “Keep in mind that Epic Games Support cannot assist in granting or getting items/offers that are not currently in the Item Shop.” See Epic’s Item Shop guidance for the current policy.

How to check a claimed return date
- Identify exactly what is supposedly returning: the Astronomical event, an Item Shop cosmetic, or a Festival song.
- Look for an official Epic or Fortnite announcement that names that content and gives the relevant date, or check the live Item Shop for cosmetics.
- Treat a specific date as unverified if the claim relies only on the shop’s rotation policy or does not point to an official announcement or shop listing.
The official sources cited here do not establish that no rumor or unindexed notice existed. They establish only that the reviewed official announcements do not confirm a 2024 return.
