Yes. Luka Dončić said in a statement to ESPN on March 10, 2026, that he and Anamaria Goltes had separated and that he had decided to end their engagement. Their relationship status is confirmed by his statement; the separate legal dispute involving their daughters has continued to evolve.
What Dončić said about ending the engagement
In a statement provided to ESPN on March 10, 2026, Dončić said: “I love my daughters more than anything and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn’t been possible, so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement.” ESPN reported his statement as part of its account of the separation.
That is Dončić’s explanation, not a joint statement from both former partners or a court finding. ESPN reported that the former couple have two daughters and were involved in a custody dispute; the available reporting does not establish the full account of either party’s position.
What is known about the legal dispute
The custody dispute and child-support matter are separate from the confirmed end of the engagement. On August 4, 2026, the Los Angeles Times reported that Goltes had asked to dismiss her California child-support petition, characterizing the request as a sign of an effort to resolve the dispute amicably. The report describes a dismissal request, not a final court ruling. It does not, by itself, establish that all disputes were resolved or clarify the status of any proceeding elsewhere.

Why an older Lakers profile may differ
The Lakers’ 2025–26 media guide described Goltes as Dončić’s fiancée and listed one daughter. Because it was issued before the March 2026 breakup reporting, it is not current evidence of their relationship or family status. The guide is a season-specific profile, not an update on subsequent events.
