Her death was announced by Actors Audition Studios on April 24 and reported by the Los Angeles Times the following day. Lincoln’s career also included a four-year run on Knots Landing and decades of work mentoring actors.
Her best-known role was Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th
In 1988, Lincoln played Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, a role that made her a familiar face in the franchise. Tina is a young woman whose telekinetic abilities bring her into conflict with Jason Voorhees. Lincoln returned to the character in the 2021 fan film Rose Blood.

She also had a lasting role on Knots Landing
Lincoln played Linda Fairgate on the prime-time drama Knots Landing from 1987 to 1991. The role placed her in a very different kind of story from the supernatural horror for which many viewers remember her.
Her screen career ranged beyond horror and television drama
Her other credits included the films Children of the Night, The Princess Academy, House II: The Second Story and Ghost Party, as well as television appearances on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Murder, She Wrote. Published accounts differ on which later credit was her final screen appearance, so no single role can be identified here as her definitive last performance.

Beyond acting, Lincoln founded Actors Audition Studios and mentored aspiring performers. The studio described her as having a “45-year career”; that figure is the studio’s characterization, as quoted by the Los Angeles Times. In its announcement of her death, the studio said: “Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.”
Lincoln also published Get Started, Not Scammed in 2008, a guide for people pursuing work as actors and models.

What was reported about her death
Actors Audition Studios said Lincoln died on April 22, 2025. The studio announcement, as reported by the Los Angeles Times and TV Insider, did not disclose a cause of death. The Los Angeles Times also reported that it did not give a location. No cause should be treated as confirmed on the basis of those reports.
