The Guardian reported that the video was filmed in Norfolk the previous month, citing a Kensington Palace spokesperson. It paired Catherine’s remarks with scenes of her with Prince William and their children.
Completing chemotherapy did not mean recovery was over
Catherine described healing as an ongoing process, saying: “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.” She said her focus was doing what she could to stay cancer free.

What she said later about remission
During a visit to the Royal Marsden in January 2025, Catherine said her cancer was in remission and that she remained focused on recovery, according to the Associated Press. Remission is not the same as a declaration that cancer has been cured, and Catherine’s update did not mean her recovery was complete.
