Sim. Durante uma transmissão ao vivo em 21 de maio de 2021, data do lançamento de “Butter”, Jungkook mostrou que o adorno era composto por gemas adesivas e o removeu diante dos fãs. A cobertura da época registrou a demonstração e a pergunta que circulava: “Is it real?” — “É real?” (Koreaboo).
Assim, o visual inicial não indicava que a sobrancelha estivesse perfurada. As gemas apenas simulavam um piercing e podiam ser retiradas.
Quando ele confirmou que fez o piercing de verdade?
No fim de julho de 2021, Jungkook confirmou em outra transmissão que havia feito o piercing real. Uma reportagem do Times of India, publicada em 31 de julho de 2021, reproduziu sua explicação: ele se cansou do trabalho de continuar colocando os adesivos e decidiu perfurar a sobrancelha.
