Barnes said doctors recommended a “remedial medical procedure” as soon as possible, followed by physiotherapy. The report did not specify what procedure was planned, name a diagnosis, or explain what caused the pain. It would be inaccurate to supply those missing details.
Which Jimmy Barnes tour dates were cancelled?
Barnes said he was cancelling his August and September 2024 shows on the Hell Of A Time tour. He said he hated letting people down but would not compromise the quality of his gigs. The report describes the months affected, but does not list each cancelled venue or performance.

How does the 2024 incident relate to his earlier surgery?
There is separate reporting about Barnes’s back and hip problems in late 2022. In November that year, he said longstanding issues had worsened into constant, severe pain; ABC News reported that he underwent surgery in December and was recovering afterward. That earlier episode does not establish the cause of his August 2024 hip pain.
